Our Older Persons and Physical Disabilities (OPPD) Service is looking for passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapists to join our fantastic team and help make a real impact in Southwark today.
About the Role:
We are seeking Occupational Therapists to join Southwark’s Older Person’s and Physical Disabilities Service (OPPD), based at Queens Road in Peckham. You will play a vital role in helping residents maximise their independence, enhance daily living, and achieve personal goals through strengths‑based intervention.
We are recruiting for 3 positions:
- 1 x Full-Time Occupational Therapist (Permanent)
- 1 x Full-Time Occupational Therapist (12‑Month Fixed Term Contract)
- 1 x Part-Time Occupational Therapist – 24.7 hours per week (Permanent)

You will deliver functional assessments, recommend and arrange equipment or adaptations, work creatively with residents and partners, and support positive risk‑taking approaches that place residents’ strengths at the heart of every decision.
About You:
You are someone who is motivated by helping others and committed to promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing. You bring compassion and professionalism to your practice, along with a desire to support individuals in achieving their potential.
You will bring:
- A recognised Occupational Therapy qualification and HCPC registration
- Strong assessment, problem‑solving, and clinical reasoning skills
- Experience/ interest of working with older adults/individuals with physical disabilities
- A strengths‑based and person‑centred approach

- Must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) with at least one recognised OT qualification.
