Are you passionate about protecting your local area, improving community safety, and tackling environmental issues head-on? We are seeking a proactive and resilient Neighbourhood Enforcement Officer to join our dedicated team.
This is a highly visible frontline role where you will work across the borough to enforce parking regulations and support environmental crime investigations—helping to create safer, cleaner communities for everyone.
As a Neighbourhood Enforcement Officer, you will:
- Carry out high-visibility patrols across neighbourhoods, car parks, and key locations
- Enforce legislation relating to parking and environmental crime
- Investigate issues such as fly-tipping, nuisance parking, dog foul offences
- Issue Fixed Penalty Notices (FPNs) and gather evidence for legal proceedings
- Work closely with Town and Parish Councils, partner agencies, and local businesses
- Engage with residents to offer advice and resolve concerns enforcement services
- Support Household Recycling Centres through site patrols and compliance checks
