The Multi‑Agency Child Protection Team (MACPT) Coordinator provides high‑level coordination, administrative and safeguarding business support to the MACPT. The role ensures that multi‑agency child protection activity is effectively organised, timely, accurately recorded and fully coordinated, enabling Lead Child Protection Practitioners (LCPPs) and Senior LCPPs to focus on statutory safeguarding decision‑making, quality assurance and risk management.
The postholder plays a central role in ensuring that strategy discussions, Section 47 activity and multi‑agency safeguarding decisions are supported by robust administration, clear records, and effective tracking of actions and timescales, contributing directly to statutory compliance, inspection readiness and safeguarding effectiveness.

Salary range
- £29,064 - £31,022 per year
