We are recruiting a Midday Supervisory Assistant at Caerphilly County Borough Council.

Working hours: 5 Hours (1 hour per day Monday – Friday)

Working Weeks TTO: 38 Weeks
Contract Type: Permanent, Part time, Term Time Only
Location: Machen Primary School

We pay an attractive salary of £12.65 per hour and offer access to training and development opportunities.

We are seeking to appoint a Midday Supervisor to ensure the safety and wellbeing of pupils during lunch breaks in accordance with the practices and procedures of the school.

You will be responsible for supervising children in the dining hall, playground and/or classroom. The successful candidate will have a calm, respectful and positive manner with the children and always assist in the promotion of positive behaviour.

The successful candidate will possess good communication skills and will enjoy working with children. They will have a commitment to making lunchtimes a happy time and will be keen to engage pupils in play activities.

For the role, we ask that you have:

  • An Understanding of the role of a Midday Supervisor and the responsibilities associated with working with children.
  • Ability to work flexibly within the requirements of the post
