    About the role

    We are looking for one-year fixed term maternity cover for public health practitioner sitting within the Inclusion Health portfolio of public health. The role will be responsible for the seamless delivery of:

    • adult mental health and suicide prevention initiatives;
    • tackling the underlying causes of serious violence;
    • targeted public health interventions to improve health outcomes and reduce inequalities for marginalised groups; and
    • workplace wellbeing initiatives.

    Additional information

    The applicant should be eligible to work in the United Kingdom for the duration of the appointment as the role is not eligible for sponsorship.

    We are looking for a candidate with practical public health experience of minimum two years. Due to this being a maternity cover, you should be able to pickup the workload immediately, therefore we expect the candidate to have adequate experience of delivering Public mental health and serious violence duty.

    Salary range

    • £49,587 - £52,860 per year
