
Marketing and Shortlisting Officer
We are recruiting a Marketing and Shortlisting Officer to join our Housing Options service for 12 months on a fixed term contract.
This is a varied role providing marketing, shortlisting, and administrative support for the council’s choice-based lettings system. You will play a key role in ensuring social housing allocations are fair, transparent, and efficient.
In this role, you will:

Manage the advertising of available properties through the choice-based lettings system.

Coordinate shortlisting, ensuring compliance with policy and fair access to housing.

Liaise with landlords, applicants, and other stakeholders.

Maintain accurate records and provide reports on lettings activity.

Support continuous service improvement.
About You
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:

Experience in housing allocations, lettings, or customer service.

Knowledge of housing policy and allocations frameworks.

Good IT and data management skills.

Strong communication and organisational skills.

Salary range
- £42,264 - £44,235 per year
