Licensing Support Officer

An opportunity has arisen to join our licensing team as a licensing support officer on a temporary 12 month contract at Uttlesford District Council. The successful candidate will have a varied range of duties, including the processing and issuing of licence applications, preparing reports for the licensing panel and responding to complaints. The main work areas include taxis/private hire, alcohol and entertainment, gambling, charitable street and house to house collections, and tables and chairs. There may be opportunity to support new areas of work for the service including animal licensing and special treatments
