Licensing Enforcement officer

Permanent – Full Time

Location: Lynton House, Ilford

Redbridge – Community Protection and Regulatory Services

We are seeking a proactive and detail – orientated Licensing officer to join our successful and established Licensing Team. You will play a key role in ensuring that licensed premises and activities operate lawfully, safely and in a way that supports our communities and local economy.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate their experience and knowledge in the field of licensing enforcement and show their commitments to the key values of this organisation. We are looking for a driven and outstanding individual who can work part of a busy front-line team and work with internal and external partners to achieve outstanding results.

The role involves administering and enforcing a range of Licensing functions under the Licensing Act 2003 and other relevant legislation, working closely with residents, businesses, responsible authorities, and elected members.

This position requires a full UK driving license and there is weekend and evening duties attached to this position.
