
Licensing Administrator
We are seeking a proactive and organised individual to join our Housing Standards Team as an Administrative Officer. In this key role, you will provide effective and efficient administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the team’s daily operations.
You will act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries, delivering excellent customer service and ensuring timely responses in line with our service performance standards. A core part of the role involves administering landlord licensing schemes — including checking applications, sending reminders, issuing licences, and providing advice and support to applicants throughout the process.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing a range of financial administrative tasks. These include processing purchase orders, invoices, and payments through the council’s financial systems, as well as monitoring debtor reports and investigating outstanding payments.
