The Role
Based in Eccleston library, this essential library assistant role will work as a member of the Library Service team, welcoming and assisting customers of all ages and backgrounds, to make effective use of the range of services and facilities
Library Assistants deliver class visits, Read & Rhyme Time and Baby Rhyme Time sessions, all of which are an essential part of the library offer.
Library Assistant communication skills are vital when supporting customers with the book stock, assisting customers with Local History enquiries and promoting the wide and varied programme of events within the local community of Eccleston.
Library Assistants are required to work at all library service points across the borough depending on service need and be committed to equality of service and high standards of customer care.
St Helens Libraries provide a full induction programme with access to a wide range of training and development and an opportunity to be part of an excellent, award winning library service.
