Working Pattern:
Monday, Tuesday and Thursday mornings: 8:30am - 12:00pm
Wednesday and Friday afternoons: 12:45pm - 3:30pm

Brackenwood Infant School is seeking to appoint a dedicated, caring and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our Foundation 2 team. This temporary role will support children within our Early Years provision, helping to create a stimulating, nurturing and engaging environment where every child can flourish.

Our Foundation 2 classrooms provide children with the strongest possible start to their educational journey. Through high-quality interactions, purposeful play and carefully planned learning experiences, we support children to develop confidence, independence, resilience and a love of learning.

The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and colleagues to support children's learning, development and wellbeing across all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage. They will help deliver engaging learning opportunities, support children's social and emotional development and contribute to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.

We are seeking someone who:
Has experience of working with young children, preferably within an Early Years setting.
Has a good understanding of child development and the Early Years Foundation Stage.
Can build positive and nurturing relationships with children, families and colleagues.
Demonstrates patience, warmth, enthusiasm and excellent communication skills.
Understands the importance of learning through play and high-quality interactions.
Is committed to supporting children's personal, social and emotional development alongside their academic progress.
Works effectively as part of a team and is willing to contribute to the wider life of the school.
Maintains high expectations and believes every child can succeed.
