Permanent, part-time position
32.5 hours per week (39 weeks per year)
Band D (pro-rata)
The Governors and Headteacher of Bedford Drive Primary School are looking to recruit an exceptional Level 2 SEND Teaching Assistant.
The successful candidates will:
- Have a level 2 qualification;
- Has a passion for supporting the needs of all children, especially those with SEND/EHCP.
- Work collaboratively with staff to deliver the curriculum;
- Have an understanding of and a commitment to Inclusion;
- Have the ability to work as part of a team, but also use own initiative when required;
- Have an understanding of strategies for managing behaviour;
- Be able to build and maintain effective relationships with pupils;
- Adapt to changing circumstances in a positive manner;
- Have a friendly, fair and caring nature, reliable and dependable;
- Have a good sense of humour.
The closing date for applications is midday on the 1st December 2025.
Interviews will take place the week of 8th December 2025.
