
Legal Support Officer - Litigation Legal Team

Salary: £32,490 - £36,870 per annum
Grade: D
1-year Fixed Term Contract
37 Hours per Week

Join our dedicated LitigationLegal Team as a Legal Support Officer and play a vital role in delivering excellent legal services to our clients’ department.
About the Role
As a Legal Support Officer, you will provide essential administrative and legal support to our lawyers, helping them deliver high-quality legal services especially in housing litigation matters. Your role will include:
- File opening, preparing and managing legal documents, redaction, disclosure document/court bundles, and correspondence
- Liaising with legal professionals, client departments, and external agencies
- Organising and maintaining case files with accuracy and confidentiality
- Managing case schedules, spreadsheet, hearings, deadlines and compliance with relevant Pre-Action Protocol requirements.
- Assisting in legal research and case preparation
- Assisting with general admin duty as and when required.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
✔ Has experience in administration
✔ Possesses excellent organisational and communication skills
✔ Works well under pressure and can manage multiple priorities
✔ Is proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and case management systems
✔ Has a strong commitment and positive professional attitude to your work.
✔ Some office attendance is required as the role cannot be carried out solely remotely.
A Basic DBS check may be required.
