
Learning Support Assistant
Job introduction
Hove Learning Federation is comprised of West Hove Infant School and Hove Junior School, serving over 1,000 children on our 3 sites – School Road, Portland Road and Holland Road.
We are seeking an empathetic, highly motivated, resilient and team orientated Learning Support Assistant to work with us for 5 days per week. Working hours required are 8.40am – 3.20 pm Monday to Friday. Experience of supporting children with additional needs with an SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) or neuro-divergent profile would be beneficial.
This is a federation post and successful candidates may be asked to work at any one of our 3 sites.
Paid weeks per year: 47.36 (inclusive of holiday entitlement)
Fixed term: Until 31st August 2026
Start date: As soon as possible.
About the role
The successful candidate will work closely with the Class Teacher and the Inclusion Team to help children engage positively with their learning and access the curriculum that respects their unique needs.
