Learning Services Worcestershire is seeking enthusiastic sessional tutors to deliver Adult Digital Skills programmes, working with adults aged 19+.

About the Provision

Digital Skills courses support adults to develop practical skills across a range of areas, including:

- Entry level digital skills for absolute beginners

- Digital skills for life and work

- Microsoft Office

- Smartphone and tablet skills

- Level 2 Digital Skills Bootcamp courses

- Employability skills, including using digital tools to support job search, applications and workplace tasks


Courses are delivered in community settings, Libraries and online, creating accessible opportunities for adults to engage in learning close to home or remotely.

Our programmes are designed to be inclusive, practical and engaging, supporting learners to build confidence, develop new skills and apply learning in everyday life and work. They also support learners to develop the digital and employability skills needed to progress into employment, training or further learning.

About the Roles

As a Digital Skills Tutor, you will take responsibility for planning and delivering engaging, high-quality sessions that support adults to develop their digital and employability skills. You will play a key role in creating inclusive learning environments and supporting learners to achieve their personal goals.


We are recruiting to our established, career-graded tutor pathway:

Tutors – £14.82 per hour

Plan and deliver engaging Digital Skills sessions, supporting adults to develop practical skills and confidence for life and work.

Senior Tutors – £16.35 per hour

Alongside teaching, contribute to curriculum planning, quality improvement and mentoring colleagues.

While these roles sit within a wider generic tutor structure, you will primarily deliver within your Digital Skills specialism. Full expectations are outlined in the job descriptions attached to this advert. Applicants are matched to the applicable role (tutor or senior tutor) at shortlisting depending on qualification and/or experience

What You’ll Be Doing

- Plan and deliver inclusive Digital Skills sessions

- Support adults to build skills, confidence and independence

- Develop learners’ digital skills for everyday life, work and job search

- Adapt delivery to meet a wide range of learner needs

- Support learners to apply digital and employability skills in practical contexts

- Work collaboratively with colleagues and community partners

- Track learner progress and provide feedback

- Embed safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion

About You

- Are passionate about adult learning, digital inclusion and employability

- Can build positive relationships with adult learners

- Are adaptable and learner-focused

- Can support learners with a range of needs to achieve and progress

You will have:

- Experience delivering learning within FE or community-based settings (ideally with adults)

- A commitment to supporting learners to achieve accredited outcomes and progression
