Landlord Liaison Officer
Grade 8 - £27,254 - £31,022 per annum
Full Time - 37 hours per week
Indefinite Contract
Are you passionate about finding people a home and making a real difference in the lives of people facing homelessness? Hastings Borough Council is seeking a proactive and relationship-driven Landlord Liaison Officer to help increase the supply of affordable, high-quality homes across the borough.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who understands the private rental sector and thrives on building partnerships with landlords, agents, and housing providers.
As Landlord Liaison Officer, you will identify and acquiring suitable private sector properties to be used as settled homes for households in housing need.
You’ll act as the council’s key contact for landlords and letting agents promoting our landlord incentive schemes, supporting compliance and tenancy sustainability, and working with our Improvement and Compliance team to ensure all properties meet statutory standards.
You will help us achieve our aim of making the private rented sector somewhere which works for tenants and for landlords.
You’ll need experience working in a housing related field and proven skills in negotiating and building positive relationships with private landlords and letting agents.
