An exciting opportunity has arisen to deliver a Job Coach role as part of the Supported Employment Quality Framework (SEQF) for Rutland’s Connect to Work programme.

The role will help disabled individuals, people with long-term health conditions, and those from disadvantaged backgrounds who face multiple and complex barriers to employment. The programme supports participants in both entering and sustaining meaningful work.

About you…
• Educated to NVQ level 4 or able to demonstrate equivalent professional experience.
• Relevant experience of working within a health, social care or voluntary sector setting.
• Able to build relationships with participants and partners
• Good report writing skills
• Experience of supporting people with health conditions and other barriers into work

About the role…
The Job Coach – Connect to Work will undertake the following:

• Manage a caseload of clients, ensuring eligibility, suitability, and tailored support needs are assessed.
• Deliver the Supported Employment Quality Framework (SEQF) model to maintain high service standards.
• Provide job search support, sourcing both advertised and hidden opportunities through employer engagement.
• Maintain accurate case notes, action plans, and programme documentation within required timeframes.
• Supply requested data and documentation to DWP and provide regular updates to the Programme Manager.
• Collaborate with Connect to Work partners, Leicester City Council, and wider stakeholders across the region.

The successful applicant for this post will be subject to an enhanced check by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). The costs for the DBS are paid by us.

The Job Coach – Connect to Work interviews will be held on 17 October 2025
