Job Description

Job Title: Internal Quality Assurer (IQA)

Salary: £30.98 - £32.21 per hour

Grade: TACC Sessional Rates: pay scale TUTLEC 5-6;

Contract Type: Casual

Hours per Week: variable; dependent on learner numbers

About the Role

Thurrock Adult Community College is the local authority’s provider of adult education for Thurrock. Our main base is in the Old Court House in Grays, but we deliver courses across the borough. We are seeking an engaging, committed and qualified individual to join our team as an Internal Quality Assurer (IQA).

You will undertake Internal Quality Assurance and/or assessment of candidates in line with awarding bodies’ requirements.

What We Are Looking For

Experience of the IQA process within adult education is desirable.

Essential qualifications:

  • You will have level 2 qualifications in English and Maths;
  • A level 3 award in Education and Training; and
  • A relevant IQA specific qualification.

DBS Check: At Basic Level is required for this post.
