Ealing Council have an exciting new opportunity as an Internal Auditor available on a full-time basis (35 hrs pw). The London Borough of Ealing is proud to be a borough synonymous with first class services and with vibrant and diverse communities.

We are looking for an Internal Auditor to join our internal audit shared service covering Ealing and Hounslow Councils. Following the move to an in-house arrangement, our audit team is growing, and we are looking for an ambitious, professional, conscientious individual to join the team and help us build a centre of excellence for internal audit.

On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for delivering internal audits in line with the audit plans across Ealing and Hounslow and other partner organisations. You will also support the Deputy Head of Audit or Senior Internal Auditors in planning and conducting audit projects.

The ideal candidate will have a sound audit background, preferably in a local government environment, and be able to perform internal audit work to a high standard. A good understanding of audit principles, controls, governance and risk as well as strong interpersonal skills are essential for this role.

You must have the right to work in the UK. Evidence for the right to work in the UK will be requested at the interview stage.
