Inclusion Lead / Early Years Teacher - Norcot Early Years Centre

Permanent, 0.6 FTE - Salary: M1 – UPS 3 plus additional SEND allowance - Required to start: January 2027

Are you passionate about early years education and championing inclusion for all children? Norcot Early Years Centre- nursery school is seeking an inspiring and dedicated Early Years Teacher/Inclusion Lead to join our supportive and committed team.

As part of our team, you will:

• Lead on strategic development of key inclusion policies, including Accessibility; SEND; Equality, Diversity, Inclusion and Behaviour
• Teach in our vibrant EYFS setting, delivering high-quality, inclusive learning experiences
• Lead our LA-commissioned inclusion base and line manage support staff
• Provide professional guidance and lead CPD for staff on SEND and inclusion and behaviour
• Work closely with external agencies to support our children and families
• Act as Designated Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead, ensuring the highest standards of safeguarding

Norcot Early Years Centre is a welcoming, diverse and inclusive setting serving up to 250 children across our nursery (including our specialist inclusion base) and Day Care provision, providing the best possible start for every child, regardless of background or need.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• NPQ for SENCO or willingness to complete within 3 years
• Enhanced DBS check
