
ICT Tutor (Adult Skills)

Are you passionate about helping adults build essential digital skills? Do you have experience in teaching ICT and digital skills and a commitment to making a real difference?
Join our Adult Skills & Community Learning service to plan and deliver inclusive Digital & ICT programmes that help adults progress, for example Essential Digital Skills E3/L1, Digital & IT Skills L2 . You’ll embed maths and English where appropriate, use technology effectively, manage positive learner behaviour, and provide timely feedback in line with RARPA/awardingbody procedures. You’ll also keep accurate electronic records and collaborate with colleagues to drive continuous quality improvement.
What we’re looking for:
- A recognised teaching qualification (e.g. Cert Ed, City & Guilds, PGCE or equivalent)
- Level 3 (or above) subject specialist qualification in Digital/ICT – preferred
- Evidence of recent CPD and experience of adult/community teaching and assessment
We welcome applicants able to teach cross curricular if the need arises. Some evening working—up to 2 evenings per week—may be required.
Salary range
- £22,601 - £35,259 per year
