This is a fantastic opportunity to join our newly formed, dynamic People & Organisational Development (OD) team as the Principal HR Systems & Workforce Data Manager. You’ll play a pivotal role in supporting both Guildford and Waverley Borough Councils as we bring together our expertise to create an innovative, high-quality People & OD service that drives cultural and organisational transformation.

What You’ll Do:

- Lead and innovate the management and development of our HR/Payroll systems (iTrent & Business World), ensuring they are efficient, secure, and user-friendly.

- Drive improvements in workforce data governance, delivering insightful analytics that shape recruitment, retention, and development strategies.

- Champion the digital transformation of People processes, enhancing employee and manager self-service and automating where possible.

- Provide strategic workforce insights to senior managers, helping forecast future staffing needs and skills gaps.

- Lead and inspire a small team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and data literacy.
