
HR Data Analyst
About the Role
Are you passionate about using data to drive positive change in HR? We are seeking an analytical and proactive HR Data Analyst to join our Human Resources team. This vital role supports data-driven decision-making, providing valuable insights to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our HR functions.
You will collect, analyse, and interpret HR data from a variety of sources, helping to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement. Your work will support strategic planning, employee engagement, and compliance with regulations such as GDPR.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Management: Gather and validate HR data from multiple sources, maintain secure databases, and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyse data to inform HR strategies, develop clear reports and dashboards, and use predictive analytics to forecast trends.
- Compliance & Data Security: Ensure all HR data practices comply with relevant laws, conduct audits, and implement robust data security measures.
- Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with HR, IT, and other departments, presenting findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience handling large volumes of data and presenting it in accessible formats for non-specialists.
- Ability to use various systems and applications, selecting the most appropriate for each task.
- Degree including HR information or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Working knowledge of HR practices and procedures (including training & development, employee relations).
- Interest in training and developing others, with a willingness to learn and demonstrate continuous professional development.
- Professional attitude, confident and honest approach, and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
