    About the role:

    Horsham District Council is looking for a HR Administrator to provide administrative support and assistance to the HR & OD Department with a range of HR processes across recruitment, learning and development, equalities, health, safety and wellbeing.

    As HR Administrator you will assist the wider HR team with a range of HR support processes including ensuring employee records are accurate and up to date on the HR information system, providing administrative support in the recruitment, selection and induction process, supporting L&D with course bookings, updating training materials and compile reports on learning completion, and act as a first point of contact by responding to enquiries from a range of internal and external stakeholders via telephone and email.

    About you:

    To succeed as a HR Administrator, you will be a competent user of Microsoft Office applications and have an ability to learn departmental IT systems. You will be a team player and have excellent customer service and communication skills whilst also having the ability to work on your own initiative. This involves being able to prioritise, organise and effectively time manage your workload. Administration skills and a high level of attention to detail is essential. It is also important that you have an understanding of data protection and confidentiality. GCSE level grades 4 or C (or equivalent) in English and Maths are required. L3 CIPD qualification is desirable.
