Charnwood Borough Council in Leicestershire is searching for the latest member of #TeamCBC!

We are looking for a passionate individual who is customer focused, a team player and wants help improve our local communities in Charnwood.

We're recruiting for a Housing Standards Assistant to join our expanding Housing Standards team and support the delivery of the Renters' Rights Act 2025.

  • The role involves working with our Housing Standards Team to drive up standards in the private rented sector.
  • To assist with all housing standards functions, including responses to complaints about management and conditions in the private rented sector and property licensing.
  • To provide advice to tenants, landlord and letting agencies in relation to housing standards and licensing.
