The Role:-
You will be providing administrative support to assess applications for the Council’s Housing Register, in line with the Council’s housing policies and procedures. Liaising with landlords, dealing with initial enquiries and supporting prospective tenants. Watford Borough Council is currently strengthening its housing service to meet the significant housing challenges faced by its residents. A strong focus will be managing demand for the Council’s Housing Services.

The successful candidate will have the drive, to ensure the council meets its statutory duty. Key requirements include effective negotiation & communication skills, the ability and motivation to solve
problems, personal credibility and an approach that builds rapport and confidence. In return we are committed to supporting you to develop, both personally and in terms of your specialist knowledge.

Salary range
- £32,061 - £34,034 per year
