Housing Register and Allocations Officer

As a Housing Register and Allocations Officer you will be ensuring all applications to the Housing Register are processed and applicants housing need assessed in accordance with the Council&©s Allocations Policy, and for carrying out all the administrative processes required.

This is a varied role providing general housing advice to customers both face to face, on the telephone and by email. The role includes shortlisting bids from applicants for social housing and ensuring nominations are made to social housing providers within required timescales, updating systems, and keeping applicants informed.
