    Full time 37 hours, Mon - Fri

    We are looking for an experienced individual to join our Housing Management Team. As a Housing Officer, you will manage a local patch of properties. This involves dealing with all aspects of tenancy and estate management, providing advice support to sustain tenancies and taking enforcement action when necessary.

    The role involves mainly working out on the district, visiting customers in their own home, establishing good relationships, as well as the preparation of legal documentation and attendance at Court.

    You must be organised and able to manage and prioritise a diverse workload with competing demands, be flexible to respond to unplanned situations and possess the problem-solving skills needed to deal with issues at pace and with accuracy.

    The ideal candidate will have:

    1. Experience of working in social housing (Council/Housing Association/Registered Social Housing)
    2. Up-to-date knowledge of housing practice and current social housing issues.
    3. Experience of working with the public and liaising with a range of stakeholders (voluntary/statutory and partner agencies).
    4. The ability to remain calm under pressure and to manage challenging situations.
    5. Experience of working within a team and proactively work towards joint targets.
    6. Excellent communication skills at all levels, excellent IT Skills and be proficient in professional letter writing.
