About the role
You may already have experience in providing a high quality, customer focussed and responsive service. You will be managing and continually improving the delivery of a high quality, value for money, cleaning, bulk removal, locksmith and repair service in the communal areas of council owned flats and estates in Brighton & Hove.
We take pride in the work we do making sure our buildings and surrounding areas meet a high standard. You will take an operational lead in the day to day management of teams to ensure standards are met.
You will have a substantial understanding of building services and building maintenance alongside the knowledge of the complexities of mortice, yale and profile locks, which can be used to be able to identify and report issues accurately and timely.
You will be authorising expenditure from the service's budget, taking balanced decisions about the use of additional resources to service pressures.
You must be able to recommend and implement changes to continually improve the service and manage the process of dealing with enquiries and complaints from the public.
To work with residents and other, internal and external partners to ensure all our services offer value for money.

Additional information
Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.

Salary range
- £44,075 - £47,181 per year
