Join Us as a Housing Compliance Officer

Are you passionate about ensuring safe, compliant homes for residents? Do you thrive in a collaborative, customer-focused environment? We’re looking for a proactive and detail-driven Housing Compliance Officer to join our Housing Assets team and help us deliver excellence in landlord compliance across our housing stock.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Champion compliance across key areas including Gas, Asbestos, Electrical Safety, Legionella, Fire Safety, Lifts, Alarms, HHSRS casework, Fall Arrest Systems, and more.
  • Work closely with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure all statutory servicing and repairs meet legal and regulatory standards.
  • Lead on the development and management of our KPI compliance dashboard, ensuring performance is tracked and reported effectively.
  • Be a key player in reviewing and updating compliance policies, managing databases, and driving data integrity.
  • Support legal processes around non-access cases, preparing documentation and evidence for court proceedings.
  • Attend contractor meetings, oversee servicing and repairs, and respond to audit actions.
  • Act as a central point of contact for compliance queries and contribute to raising awareness across the organisation.
  • A full clean driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential for this role.

Who We’re Looking For

We are looking to up to two full time Housing Compliance Officers and you’ll be someone who:

  • Has a strong understanding of housing compliance and safety regulations.
  • Is confident managing data, systems, and performance reporting.
  • Communicates clearly and professionally with residents, contractors, and colleagues.
  • Can work independently and collaboratively to solve problems and improve services.
  • Is committed to continuous learning and development.
