    Starting salary £40,689 pa with potential progression to £43,690pa on achieving designated skills and experience

    37 hours per week (hybrid working)


    Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council owns and manages more than 10,000 social rented and leaseholder homes and we have ambitions to do more.

    Our aim is to make it easy for residents to access our services and we want to aid and support our tenants in the right place, at the right time. We know that this is a challenging time for many households and our new approach to service delivery reflects this.

    This is a key role where you will manage the following essential services: Leasehold and Home Ownership accounts, Right to Buy and Rent Accounting Transactions.

    You’ll deliver our promise of being a high-quality landlord, maximising our income and consulting our 1300 leaseholders to ensure their accounts are administered and managed effectively. Additionally, the team will be administering the council’s Right to Buy sales and rent account transactions and annual increases.

    We are looking for someone who has:

    • Significant experience of delivering a leasehold service, including accounts management and consultations
    • Strong technical knowledge of leasehold services and accounts management
    • Detailed knowledge and experience of right to buy procedures and legislation

    The ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential in this post.

    You will be based at our offices in White Lion Square, Hatfield.
