Ashdene Primary School – Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Start Date: As soon as possible
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm (3, 4, or 5 days per week – to be discussed at interview)
Contract: Full-time or part-time considered - Permanent

Ashdene Primary School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team. The role involves supporting learning in classrooms during the mornings and providing whole-class cover in the afternoons.

An ability to cover French lessons would be an advantage, but is not essential.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has HLTA status (or equivalent experience).
  • Demonstrates strong classroom management and a passion for supporting children’s learning.
  • Can work effectively as part of a team, showing flexibility and initiative.
  • Is committed to ensuring the best outcomes for all pupils.
