Southfields Community Primary School is an innovative, diverse and inclusive primary school located in the heart of Coventry. The school has a long history of serving the local community and it is an ‘oasis’ within a vibrant urban environment. Southfields is committed to a drive for continuous improvement, grounded in the firm belief that our children deserve an outstanding, research-led education. This is achieved through a culture of challenging the status-quo, and through the openness we have as a staff to growing our skills and practice.

Leaders and Governors, alongside all staff, work collaboratively and tirelessly to secure the best possible outcomes and believe wholeheartedly in our school values: Good learners, Accepting, Respectful and Kind. We are determined to move the school forward and are looking for an outstanding HLTA to join our school team.

At Southfields, our vision is for every child to develop their unique potential and open their minds to what is possible. We recognise that excellent teaching for our children is the key to their success throughout their time in education. We know that excellent teaching and learning does not happen without excellent professional development – a key feature of Southfields’ ethos.

As we continue to develop and relentlessly deliver the very best, we are looking for an experienced HLTA to join our Early Years Team (specifically Nursery) as soon as possible.

We are looking for someone who is open to professional development, loves learning and ultimately will share our passion to keep innovating to provide better experiences and outcomes for our children. In return, we will guarantee the best possible professional development in the role to ensure you thrive in your chosen career.

    • Be able to form strong, professional relationships with staff, pupils and parents.
    • Has experience working in a primary school setting, ideally Early Years, and has a Level 3 or above qualification in Early Years.

    In return, we can offer:

    • A wonderful school community.
