Heating Engineer

We are delighted to advertise the position of a Heating Engineer within Property Services.

The successful candidate will carry out all aspects of repairs and installations to the current British Standards, testing and inspection of commercial installations and take appropriate remedial action where required, ensure that all test/service certificates and reports are completed to specification and signed by the appropriate person ready for submission to Client/Client Agent within specified time frames, carry out diagnostic fault finding on a wide range of installations, equipment and apparatus, including commercial installations. Work at heights either by ladder scaffold MEWPS and recognise and use any necessary safety equipment.

To ensure that Personal Protective (PPE) provided is maintained at an adequate level in service able condition and always used when and where appropriate and order materials as and when the job requires.

To work to current Health and Safety legislation and identify any areas for improvement and communicate these to your Line Manager for inclusion into the Management process. Responsibility to take responsible care for The Health Safety and Welfare of themselves and others in accordance with HSWA 1974.
