The role:

• We’re looking for four passionate and skilled Health and Wellbeing Instructors to join our Sport and Recreation team at Liverpool City Council. This is a rewarding opportunity to work directly with residents across the city, supporting them to improve their health and wellbeing through tailored physical activity programmes
• You’ll deliver inclusive, safe and effective sessions in settings such as Lifestyles Centres and community venues, supporting individuals referred through schemes like GP Exercise Referral and Falls Prevention
• This role is ideal for qualified fitness professionals who are confident working with people with long-term health conditions, older adults, and those at risk of social isolation. You’ll design personalised exercise plans, lead group sessions, and provide motivational support to help participants build confidence and independence
