Clare Mount Specialist Sports College, a thriving school with 460 pupils, is seeking an exceptional individual to join us as Headteacher's Personal Assistant and Office Manager (Clerk to Governors).
About the role:
Youll play a vital part in supporting our Headteacher and governing body, ensuring the smooth, efficient, and confidential operation of our busy school office. This is a varied role involving high-level administrative support, office management, and governance support. Youll lead on the use of Microsoft Office, Arbor, and Google, oversee office systems and staff, and act as the first point of contact for a range of stakeholders.
As Clerk to Governors, youll provide effective support to the governing body, including meeting preparation, minute taking, and compliance with statutory requirements.
Were looking for someone who:
Is highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities
Has excellent communication, interpersonal, and minute-taking skills
Demonstrates professionalism, confidentiality, and sensitivity
Has experience in administration or office management, ideally in education
Can use Microsoft Office, Arbor, and Google confidently
Is calm under pressure and shows initiative
Enjoys working as part of a team
