The Change team within Strategy & Communities leads this work, bringing together programme leadership, delivery, service design, business analysis and PMO into a single function.
We are seeking a Head of Service Design and Business Analysis to lead these capabilities. This is a senior leadership role responsible for shaping how services are designed, how problems are defined, and how new operating models are developed and delivered.
What You'll Be Doing
In this role you will:
- Lead service design and business analysis across the change portfolio
- Shape the design of new operating models that improve outcomes and efficiency
- Ensure a clear and consistent approach to problem definition, process design and requirements
- Work with Directors and senior leaders to develop practical solutions to service challenges
- Oversee the design of end-to-end services, journeys and processes
- Ensure design work translates into implementable change
- Build and lead a multidisciplinary team of service designers and business analysts
- Set clear standards and ways of working for design and analysis
What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who has:
- Experience leading service design and/or business analysis in complex organisations
- A track record of delivering service transformation and operating model change
- Strong understanding of user-centred design, process improvement and analysis
- Experience working with senior stakeholders to shape and deliver change
- The ability to turn insight into practical, deliverable solutions
