Lead how we attract, manage and understand our workforce

Tower Hamlets is recruiting a Head of Resourcing, HR Systems & Contracts to lead the council’s resourcing and workforce systems.

This is a strategic leadership role focused on delivery, insight and modernisation.

What you’ll do

  • Lead the council’s resourcing strategy and workforce planning
  • Oversee recruitment governance and ensure fair, compliant processes
  • Drive improvements in candidate and hiring manager experience
  • Lead HR systems and data, improving efficiency, insight and reporting
  • Manage workforce supply, labour market insight and talent pipelines
  • Ensure alignment with the workforce strategy and organisational priorities

What we’re looking for

  • Strong experience in resourcing, workforce planning or HR systems
  • Ability to combine strategy with delivery
  • Strong understanding of compliance, risk and governance
  • A collaborative leader comfortable working across the organisation
