Salary range: Grade 5 £33,012 -£33,987 pa. plus fantastic benefits

Hours of work: 36 hours per week

Help us keep Croydon’s homes and estates in excellent condition.
We are seeking three skilled and reliable Handypersons to carry out minor repairs, maintenance and improvements in communal areas and residents’ homes. From fixing locks to replacing fittings, you’ll make sure our estates are safe and well-maintained.
About the role
- Deliver a minor repairs and maintenance service.
- Carry out tasks such as basic carpentry, plumbing, and fitting replacement.
- Carry out deep cleaning and removal of minor graffiti (common areas).
- Ensure work is completed safely and to a high standard.
- Work flexibly across estates to support caretaking services.
About you
- Experience of carrying out basic cleaning tasks and minor repairs
- Health and safety awareness when working in residential buildings.
- A customer-focused approach with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must hold a clean driving licence
