Could you be the person we are looking for? Could you be the one to take the lead in an award winning Parks Maintenance Team? We are currently looking for a skilled and experienced Parks Maintenance Team Leader to take charge of the day to day delivery of our grounds maintenance service. In this role you will be a participative Team Leader, with excellent leadership skills, attention to detail and the ability to lead, organise and deliver good quality grounds maintenance services across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of parks maintenance, including grass cutting, hedge trimming, strimming, weed control, tree and shrub planting and maintenance work.

  • Ensure high standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction are consistently met.

  • "Plan, schedule, and manage daily tasks, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

  • Provide training and support to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge

  • Liaise with clients and stakeholders to address their needs and maintain positive relationships.

  • Manage and maintain grounds maintenance equipment and machinery.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within parks maintenance or landscaping.

  • Excellent knowledge of grounds maintenance practices and techniques.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.

  • Ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve high performance.

  • A valid UK driving license.

  • Industry related NPTC qualifications for using equipment and pesticide spraying.

  • Experience in using ride-on mowers and other grounds maintenance machinery
