About the Role
If you are a graduate with qualifications or experience in relation to energy, decarbonisation, housing, project management or similar, this could be a great job for you. This role will help develop and support delivery of housing decarbonisation and energy efficiency projects that will have a real impact on standards of living for the most vulnerable, alongside environmental impact, economic growth and social justice agendas.
You will work alongside the wider project team and practitioners, using a standardised project management framework based on recognised methodologies, tools and templates to ensure projects are delivered to a high standard throughout the project lifecycle, with the opportunity to support in all aspects of planning, monitoring, reporting and control.
We are an enthusiastic and passionate team, and can provide variety, training and development opportunities to gain hands-on professional project management experience in housing decarbonisation for the right candidate.
About the person
Essential skills and knowledge for this role:
- Relevant Energy, Decarbonisation, Project Management or similar undergraduate degree or degree level apprenticeship
- Other qualification or professional accreditation (preference given to those related to Energy / Decarbonisation / Housing / Retrofit e.g. NEA)
- Project management qualification (APM, PRINCE2, certifications, MSP, PMBOK) supported by certifications
- Previous paid or voluntary work (preference given to those related to Energy / Housing / Retrofit)
- Experience working effectively in a team
- Good IT skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office and collaborative working IT solutions (eg SharePoint, Teams)
- Ability to analyse and interpret data, recognising patterns and trends and drawing out conclusions and actionable summaries
- Good verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail and ability to communicate ideas effectively and to present work clearly
- Ability to support the organisation of meetings, engagement and events – invites, slides, papers, meeting documentation
- Pro-active, a self-starter with the ability to work with minimum supervision, will need to be able to use own initiative and work to deadlines; strong time management skills are essential
- Good interpersonal skills, including an ability to adapt appropriately to people at all levels and different environments

Salary range
- £29,423 - £32,530 per year
