We are seeking a GIS Officer to join Lee Valley’s GIS team and deliver exciting and challenging geospatial projects across our world class visitor destinations consisting of 10,000 acres of award-winning parklands and outstanding sports venues, including three London 2012 legacy venues.

GIS is embedded across the organisation and as the GIS Officer you will play a central role in supporting, designing, developing and managing spatial databases, performing spatial data analysis; and delivering a variety of projects, from mapping to developing apps.

We are looking for a motivated and innovative individual who is proficient in managing data from diverse sources and is able to work with people from a range of diverse fields.

Experience in using geospatial software (ESRI) and creating data visualisations is essential and knowledge and understanding of any relational databases with any scripting languages experience (Python, R, JavaScript) will be advantageous.

In addition to your technical skills, you will be able to communicate effectively and concisely across different levels of the organisation and develop strong relationships with your colleagues and clients.
