Introduction to Alt Bridge School
Alt Bridge School is a specialist secondary school and post-16 provision, catering to learners with Education, Health and Care Plans. We are a thriving and inclusive school community, committed to providing our learners with the best opportunities to succeed as we prepare them for adulthood.
We are seeking to appoint a Semi-Formal Class Teacher to deliver a structured, thematic curriculum to pupils working below age-related expectations. The majority of our students have Autistic Spectrum Conditions, learning difficulties and/or sensory needs. This role involves teaching pupils with a range of complex learning needs and communication differences, supporting their academic, personal and social development.

- Has experience (or a strong interest) in delivering a semi-formal, thematic or primary-style curriculum
- Can teach across a range of subjects through an engaging, structured and flexible approach

- Is reflective, adaptable and committed to developing their practice
- Works effectively as part of a collaborative team, sharing ideas and supporting consistency

At Alt Bridge, the wellbeing of our staff is very important to us. Each member of staff has a designated health and wellbeing contact amongst the Senior Leadership Team. In terms of staff wellbeing, we currently offer;
