This exciting new Pathfinders programme will, through our new Family Help Teams, support families to access the right help at the right time to overcome challenges, stay together and thrive. Aligned with this will be expert multi-agency safeguarding arrangements to protect children and young people from harm.

Access to Family Help will be through the Redbridge Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH). In taking forward the Pathfinders programme, Redbridge is recruiting a First Contact Officer in its Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH). We are seeking an administrator who has experience of working in a front-line Children and Families statutory setting.

The First Contact Support Officer is responsible for the initial response to concerns about children and young people that present at the front door to childrens social care. The role is responsible for timely and effective responses to information received, recording and decision-making procedures.

To apply for this post please complete the online application form and attach your CV and a Covering Letter addressing how you meet the criteria for the role as stated in the person specification.

All short-listed applicants will need to demonstrate proof of right to work in the UK. At the London Borough of Redbridge, we receive a high volume of great-quality applicants, we therefore may close a vacancy earlier than advertised. Early applications are therefore encouraged.
