About the role

In this post you will provide a range of practical and technical accounting services for a range of functions such as invoicing, debt management, accounts payable, cashiering, housing rents. You will be responsible for and expected to take ownership of calculating, reconciling, investigating and resolving any discrepancies in areas of work assigned. You will also provide support to the Financial Accountant (Controls) on other functions as needed from time to time.

About you

  • Previous experience in finance or accounting with a solid understanding of core accounting concepts such as debits, credits, balance sheet, revenue accounts, accruals, reconciliation processes etc.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to interrogate and interpret financial data accurately
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams
  • IT literacy including MSOffice (especially Excel) and the ability to use financial systems for data input and enquiries
