You will be joining a small, friendly, and supportive administration team at the heart of the school. The team consists of two Administrators, a part-time Finance Assistant and a School Business Manager, all working collaboratively to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the school.
What is the job role?We are seeking a highly organised and professional Finance Assistant to join our busy school office team. Working under the direction of the School Business Manager, you will play a vital role in delivering an efficient financial support service while acting as the welcoming face of the school.
This is a varied and rewarding role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to supporting pupils, families, and staff.
Who are we looking for?We are looking for a motivated and reliable individual with proven experience in a finance or financial administration role, who can bring strong financial knowledge and accuracy to our busy school office. The ideal candidate will be confident in handling financial processes such as data entry, reconciliations, invoicing, and reporting, with a clear understanding of the importance of compliance, attention to detail, and confidentiality. Alongside these financial skills, you will be highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities, and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment. You will also be a professional and approachable communicator, able to work effectively with staff, parents, and visitors. A positive, proactive attitude and the ability to adapt to changing demands are essential, as is a commitment to supporting a welcoming and child-focused school environment.
