Finance Apprentice

18 Month fixed term contract

We have an exciting apprenticeship opportunity for someone who is organised and motivated to join our Transactional Services Team within Financial Services.

Working closely with the team, managers and employees, your primary role will be to deal with the Council’s day to day accounts receivable activities within our Customer Accounts Team.

You will have a ‘can do’ attitude and a desire to learn, with the commitment to undertake a Finance (AAT2) Apprenticeship. The role is a fantastic opportunity to gain knowledge, work experience and a qualification.

Applicants should have a good level of general education including Maths and English at GSCE grade C or 4 or equivalent and be competent in Microsoft office packages.

A Basic check will be undertaken with the Disclosure and Barring Service to ensure that the successful candidate has no relevant convictions.
