Derbyshire Youth Justice Service seeks an experienced and motivated Family Support Worker to join a multi agency team of child-focused practitioners. You'll play a vital role in supporting children and young people who are at risk of re-offending, promoting a pro-social relationship with the community and helping them to build brighter futures.

About the Role

This is a full time post to cover maternity leave within the Chesterfield, North Dales and High Peak team. This is a hybrid working role with an office base at The Quad in Chesterfield.

The position is for the role of Family Support Worker within Derbyshire Youth Justice Service. The successful candidate will join a multi agency team of professionals working within a service rated by HMIP as 'Good'. The post includes working directly with children and the professional network around them, assessing their holistic needs and creating tailored intervention plans with the aim of increasing safety and reducing risk.
