We are expanding our Kinship Team within the Fostering Service and are seeking a new team of four Family Support Workers to join this growing area of practice.

This role will provide direct support to children, young people and their kinship carers, working alongside Social Workers to help stabilise and sustain kinship care arrangements. The post holder will deliver practical, emotional, and parenting support to families, promote good enough parenting, and contribute to positive outcomes for children who are unable to live with their parents.

The role is hands‑on and relationship‑based, working directly with families in their homes and communities, and in close partnership with colleagues across Children’s Social Care and partner agencies.
