    The Role:

    • The Family Link Worker will plan, develop and deliver early learning sessions for families
    • In the role of Family Link Worker you will extend your support into the home, guiding parents through Peep, Play at Home and various other programmes to create a positive learning environment and ensure their children are ready to transition to nursery or school
    • The Family Link Worker will collaborate with local schools, nurseries and community settings to provide a range of services that promote children's learning and development, with a particular focus on speech, language, and communication skills
    • In the role of a Family Link Worker you will provide direct support to children and families facing a range of challenges, developing targeted intervention plans in collaboration with families and partner agencies as part of the Family Help offer
    • Family Link Workers facilitate a variety of parenting courses such as You and Me Mum, Nurture Programme, Baby Massage, and Welcome to Play (training will be provided) .
    • Complete evaluation reports and case studies to track progress, celebrate achievements and help shape future service delivery

    • A dynamic and motivated individual who is passionate about supporting children and families.
    • Strong interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with parents and caregivers, encouraging cooperation and positive outcomes for their children.
    • The ability to observe, plan, and deliver engaging and effective learning sessions for children under five.
    • A commitment to working in partnership with local schools, nurseries, and community services to ensure the best possible opportunities for young children.
